Software and applications development and analysis
UNDP has drawn on world-wide experience for over three decades to assist China both in developing solutions to its own ongoing development challenges, and in its south-south cooperation and engagement in global development. Domestically, our work focuses on Good Governance, Energy & Environment, Poverty Reduction, and Disaster Management. In September 2015, all of 193 United Nations Member States adopted the Sustainable Development Goals as part of a 2030 sustainable development agenda. The 17 sustainable development goals cover a broad range of sustainable development issues, and will guide policy and funding for the next 15 years. UNDP is aiming to educate and to raise public awareness about the SDGs by developing a SDG-related mobile memory game. For now, this game has been successfully designed with Netease and needs to be redesigned on iOS platform, which allows it to be comprehensive and friendly to users. For reference of the design and type of the memory game, examples of existing memory games can be found at the links below:

Keep this in mind:

Most organizations find the volunteers they need within just a few days and close the opportunities to more applications. So if you see a project that interests you, apply right away and make sure that you show the organization that you have the right skills and motivation for the task!

Online volunteering is rewarding and empowering, but it’s also a serious commitment. When you are chosen for an assignment, the organization is counting on you to complete it.

Our online volunteer community is made up of bright, dynamic, committed individuals who enjoy bringing out the best in each other and in the organizations they serve. We expect all volunteers to maintain high standards of behaviour, and to refrain from any activity that could be detrimental to the assignment, the organization, other volunteers, or to UNV.
