Background and objectives
The volunteer will layout and design knowledge products (reports, briefing notes etc.) and develop visual concepts which can be used to communicate key messages with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. illustrated flyers, PPTs, imagery etc.). The knowledge products to be designed include internal programme documents, reports and statistical data related to UNDPs Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE) work. The volunteer will have weekly contact with UNDPs PVE Programme Analyst based in New York.

The volunteer will support UNDPs efforts to strengthen knowledge sharing, global communication and learning in the area of Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE). UNDP recently undertook an internal stocktaking exercise to assess the different components of the PVE portfolio across the 34 country offices where the programme is implemented. The volunteer would develop the visual concept of this report and develop visual products for different internal/external stakeholders. The products will be used to strengthen knowledge sharing and learning across the UNDP country offices as well as promote the work of UNDP to external stakeholders.
Volunteers: 1 needed
1-5 hours per week / 6 weeks
The volunteer must have proven experience in graphic designing and layout of technical documents. The volunteer must have personal access to the preferred layout/design software. Experience of adhering to organizational visual standards.
