Background and objectives
The volunteers will support the six-week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Green Entrepreneurship as expert facilitators. They will serve as subject matter experts who will address participants' comments and questions on online forums in the course room, ignite productive conversations, and create engaging discussion spaces around the topic of developing and implementing a green business idea. The volunteers will be engaged in the facilitation of the course forums from 26 October to 18 December 2020. During this period, they will monitor the forums daily (approx. 1 hour per day except weekends), and respond to users' questions and comments. They will attend an orientation call with the course coordinator the week of 19 October, and will be asked to share a weekly status update over email throughout the course. After the course, they will be invited to a debrief call with the course coordinator to share their experience of interacting with the course participants.
