Background and objectives
The UNHCR Regional Representation in Canberra is looking for a creative graphic design volunteer, who would be willing to work with us on a six month project, (ideally June-November), on average 2 days per week, to produce informative outreach material. The focus will be on the production of a print ready document of the UNHCR Detention Guidelines. But the volunteer will also have the opportunity to work with the Public Information Unit on shorter projects including template design, infographics and maps. Volunteers will be required to produce artwork in accordance with branding guidelines and time commitments will vary week to week as the opportunity is project based. Please be aware the ownership and copyright of the products will remain with UNHCR.

The UNHCR Regional Representation in Canberra is looking for a Graphic Design Online Volunteer to assist with the development of creative content for print and online platforms. This opportunity will support the advocacy work of the UN Refugee Agency in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
Volunteers: 1 needed
11-20 hours per week / 26 weeks
Graduate degree, Postgraduate degree or certification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field; Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design; Previous experience with international organisations preferred; Hold a creative cloud membership; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Indesign and Illustrator); Portfolio of recent work.
