Aid UNICEF Equatorial Guinea in design of dashboards for measuring results in key programmatic sectors

We are looking for qualified online volunteers who have the skills and the creativity to create designs of 5 dashboards for our thematic working areas. Such an innovation will aid our staff in visualizing their key results for the year (or longer) and allow them, as well as involved partners, to never lose tracks of progress and what indicators and results are to be met within certain timeframes. These results are key to our daily functioning and are part of the Agenda 2020 / Sustainable Development Goals.

One of the key elements of working for UNICEF is Result Based Management. Our staff, during the yearly retreat, identified the need to have more tools which would allow us to reach our goals. In this sense, dashboards could be very useful to us. We are looking for dashboards for five specific categories: -Health: including under 5 mortality, HIV, Nutrition and Immunization. -Education: Child Friendly Schools concept, Inclusion of vulnerable groups -Social Policy: several laws are to be approved, advocacy with government partners is important, capacity building -Operations: All related to administrative tasks, finance, IT services, Recruitment and HR -Child protection: Juvenile Justice, Violence against children, Birth registration Online UN Volunteers are to work together with our C4D specialist and the M&E Specialist who can aid them in their task. The idea would be that 5 volunteers design a dashboard for two categories. Afterward, our staff will choose the preferred dashboard per category, but all designs will be shared with our regional office, allowing other country offices to use the work done as well, increasing exposure of the designs/artists.

Graphic/artistic design skills, either by drawing or by using electronic tools; Understanding of UNICEF work areas; Communication skills; Time Management skills; Spanish and/or English. We encourage volunteers to be creative in their design and will give them their artistic freedom. The only requirement will be that certain milestones/key results are visually included in the design per the normal dashboard concept.
