Requirements
UNICEF Haiti is seeking for one or two online volunteers who can translate a 13-page document (about 6820 words) from English to French. This a strategic document related to our Education program.Ideally, one volunteer would translate the document to ensure coherence of the translation. However, if not possible two volunteers can do the translation. The volunteer should provide a weekly update of the translation's progress by email. UNICEF Haiti would be available by email if any question arises. Skype calls can be possible if necessary. Volunteer can work at their own pace and decide the schedule. However the document would need to be translated by January 15th 2018, at the latest.
The document that needs to be translated is a strategic document that presents UNICEF Haiti vision for the next five years in the Education sector. Education is a very important component of UNICEF's work in Haiti, as many children do not have access to free and quality primary education in Haiti. In order to be widely shared with our local partners and to build a common understanding of UNICEF's priorities in the education sector, the document needs to be translated in French.
Excellent written proficiency in French. Prior translation experience is an asset. Please include your CV.
