Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
By the end of 2019, all UN agencies in Lebanon are planning to have a harmonized induction package accessible for all International staff members. As contributor to the project, UNICEF Lebanon is seeking the support of an online volunteer to summarize and edit 3 to 5 onboarding booklets from different UN agencies. Individual onboarding booklets have between 50 and 60 pages including pictures/graphs/etc.. The online volunteer will work under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager. It is expected that the volunteer will submit an initial draft in MS Word format within 4 weeks. The online volunteer will not be expected to work on the design or layout of the induction package. Due credit will be given to the online volunteer on the final product. The product should be delivered by end of July (volunteer can organize the work by him/herself – i.e. part time or full-time. Full time preferred.

All UN agencies in Lebanon specifically the Human Resources working group are working to achieve a harmonized system throughout all agencies. As a result, the initial objective is to have a coherent induction package accessible to all members by the end of 2019. UNICEF Lebanon will take the lead on this project to summarize and edit the on-boarding booklets from each agency and create a ONE WELCOME BOOKLET that will be used consistently.

6-10 hours per week / 6 weeks
1. Excellent English and editorial skills. 2. Strong writing skills. 3. Attention to detail. 4. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset
