Background and objectives
UNICEF Child Protection Malawi has created a team agreement with guiding principles and standardized expectations for the section concerning working relationships, groups structure and working environment. We are seeking an Online Volunteer to help us design and layout this document, which will eventually be stuck on the wall around each of our work stations to be used as a guiding document for our section. Support for this project will mostly be through email by a dedicated focal point. The Online Volunteer is required to: - Prepare 2 mock-up design and layout options in A4 size, with appropriate use of UNICEF logo and brand elements (brand guide will be provided); - Incorporate feedback from UNICEF and develop the selected design/s for final approval; - Lay out the text for the document in the finalized template/s for UNICEF review ; - Provide high quality print and web versions of the final documents, after incorporating all comments from UNICEF.

The fundamental mission of UNICEF is to promote the rights of every child, everywhere, in everything the organization does — in programs, in advocacy and in operations. The equity strategy, emphasizing the most disadvantaged and excluded children and families, translates this commitment to children’s rights into action. For UNICEF, equity means that all children have an opportunity to survive, develop and reach their full potential, without discrimination, bias or favoritism. As part of our internal planning, UNICEF Malawi’s child protection section has created a guiding document to use for facilitating a positive and cohesive environment which will in turn lead us towards achieving our team goals. We understand that individual values, beliefs and behaviors have an impact on the attainment of the organizational goals. Therefore, we created and identified priority values for our section. The Online Volunteer will design and layout the document.
