Creating storyboard and script for videos promoting online courses on conflict, peace and security

Background and objectives
The UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), Division for Peace is looking for online volunteers to collaborate with us for the first stage (storyboard and script production) of the project that involves the development of a new set of promotional videos: 1 short engaging video promoting 12 online courses in conflict, peace and security (2-3 minutes), and 12 short engaging videos promoting and showcasing each one of these online courses (30-60 seconds). The volunteers will collaborate with another volunteer responsible for the actual video production and editing (communicating remotely). The final products will be disseminated globally and will include credits for the production. UNITAR will own the rights to the final products. Online volunteers will receive branding guidelines, and some sources of visuals and video cuts.

UNITAR is committed to providing access to quality learning opportunities for all onsite UN Volunteers as part of their professional journey and to enhancing knowledge and skills of onsite UN Volunteers in areas relevant to their responsibilities in the field. Therefore, UNITAR has developed 12 online courses tailored to the specific learning needs of onsite UN Volunteers. The objective of this particular project is to expand the outreach and increase participation in these courses with the ultimate goal of developing global capacities for the promotion of peace and security.
Volunteers: 3 needed
11-20 hours per week / 10 weeks
Online volunteers must be proficient in the production of video storyboards and scripts. Native level or excellent knowledge of English (C2) and outstanding writing skills. She/He should be able to understand the general process of the actual video production as well in order to be able to effectively cooperate with the video editor. Previous experience of working in/writing for the public sector is desirable. Please include examples of your past work, submissions without will not be considered.
