Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
We seek 1 online volunteer to support Partnerships Specialist of UNITLIFE in carrying out extensive research on suitable companies, foundations and high net worth individuals in India, China, Indonesia and South Korea that would be potentially interested in funding UNITLIFE's action. This includes gathering donor intelligence, analyzing CSR agendas of companies/foundations and wealthy individuals and how they overlap UNITLIFE's mandate. The expected output is a proposal of at least 50 potential donors including contact details to UNITLIFE Secretariat. The online volunteer is not required to contact any third parties on behalf of UNITLIFE. The online volunteer will have the support of UNITLIFE by providing all the necessary information and available resources that are required for the task. There will be regular communication via online meetings and email to discuss matters relating the task.

UNITLIFE is the only United Nations fund exclusively dedicated to fight chronic malnutrition by investing in women’s empowerment, climate-smart agriculture, and nutrition education. Chronic malnutrition is one of the most common diseases in the world, affecting 1 in every 5 children. It is a result of poor nutrition during the first 1,000 days of a child’s life and has irreversible and lifelong consequences on the growth of children’s bodies, the development of their brains, and on their immune system.

11-20 hours per week / 8 weeks
Experience in Private Sector donor mapping and intelligence gathering by having worked for another UN agency or large international NGO before. Experience in working in the Private Sector is a big plus. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. University degree in Business, management or CSR is required.
