Background and objectives
The volunteer is asked to transform an exciting project proposal into a PowerPoint presentation including original graphic design. The volunteer will be provided with the written proposal and is asked to restructure the text and create graphic materials for its efficient and esthetic presentation in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. The resulting product is to be used while presenting this innovative proposal to relevant partners.

UNV contributes to Peace and Development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well supported UN Volunteers into development programming. The UNV LAC Portfolio manages 380 volunteers in 17 countries through 9 Field Units. The assignment will help the Portfolio present a project proposal to relevant partners in an esthetic and efficient manner.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
The volunteer should have a background in graphic design and excellent mastery of PowerPoint. A diploma in art and graphic design is considered an asset. Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines are imperative. The volunteer is also asked to please include web links to samples of previous graphic design products in the application, if available.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
