Task
Background and objectives
Requirements
The volunteer will be expected to convert programme information (to be provided in Word Format) into a PowerPoint slide with infographics that illustrates that information in summary. This programme document contains information regarding the UNV/UN-HABITAT programme that is broadly classified into 8 elements: 1.Background / Situation Analysis; 2.Strategic Rationale; 3. Programme Objectives 4.Components of the Programme (Main Outputs & Activities); 5. UNV Value Proposition 6. Implementation Framework; 7. Expected Results; 8. Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Strategy. The task for the volunteer involves converting the information in the programme document using infographics and summarizing into a PowerPoint presentation of no more than 10 slides. Particularly, the volunteer shall produce still, visuals and animated graphics out of the information in the documents provided, using photography, typography, graphic layout, color, style, etc. to deliver the intended message

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is the UN organization that promotes volunteerism to support peace and development worldwide. Volunteerism can transform the pace and nature of development and it benefits both society at large and the individual volunteer. UNV contributes to peace and development by advocating for volunteerism globally, encouraging partners to integrate volunteerism into development programming, and mobilizing volunteers.

11-20 hours per week / 1 weeks
1. A degree in Communications, Design or related field 2. Ability to work within three days from assignment. 3. Very strong typography and design skills using balance, form, original artwork 4. Adobe Creative Suite - specifically illustrator, photoshop, In Design, & PPT 5. Ability to animate, video edit a plus 6. Ability to use pivot tables, analyze data a plus The deadline is 16th January 2019 & Volunteer will be duly credited
