Background and objectives
Requirements
We need online volunteers who will have the responsibility to translate 5 pages guidance note from English to French. As this document is confidential for our strategic partnerships in West and Central Africa, but also all around the world, we need to collaborate with highly skilled translators. This task will help UNV to facilitate its partnerships within the region and all around the world. The document will be shared once the volunteers selected and they will not have to right to reuse it for any other purpose once the task completed. Also, the successful online volunteers will be fully credited for their efforts.

The document to be translated is currently developed by The United Nations Volunteering (UNV) Programme for West and Central Africa. The guidance notes have became a more and more important in our partnerships worldwide, which are a huge part of the United Nations Volunteering Programme's core activities. We are looking for some online volunteers able to give some more impact to our work by sharing their expertise in English-French bilingualism.
Volunteers: 2 needed
1-5 hours per week / 1 weeks
For this opportunity, we need: • Highly skilled bilingual translator (French and English) • Very discreet and reliable collaborators • Collaborators who can submit the requested work in due time • Prior professional experience within a UN agency is an asset.
