Background and objectives
Requirements
Visualize in a presentation (Prezi preferred) a future oriented policy development, building upon the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) report on Reform of the International Monetary and Financial System, the Monterrey Consensus of the International Conference on Financing for Development and Addis Ababa Action Agenda (AAAA) for a United Nations wide path forward to achieve the 2030 goals through volunteerism, a redesigned universal basic income and technology driven financing. The selected volunteer will work with a small team in charge of policies in UNV. The volunteer will be provided a detailed proposal whose concepts need to be designed into an easy to understand presentation that should not exceed 20 slides. This will be shared with UN colleagues engaged in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Volunteers will be given due credit on the final product.

This presentation will be used to explain a proposal for furthering "Volunteering for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" for development of the United Nations system policy towards volunteerism led path achieving sustainable universal living allowance and the inspirational Plan of Action. The proposal will include a resilient communities update that is embedded with sustainable volunteerism as a guiding principle policy instrument. This new universal agenda will require an integrated approach to sustainable development and collective action, at all levels, to address the challenges of our time, with an overarching imperative of ‘leaving no one behind’ and addressing inequalities and discrimination as the central defining feature.

6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
High level presentation design, acumen in visualizing financial and other value transfers, passion for volunteerism, sustainable development, and sustainable universal basic income.
