Background and objectives
Requirements
The immigration law of Timor Leste is written in Portuguese language in a 79 page document with 11 (eleven) chapters. We desire to have this law translated into British English with Oxford spellings for reference by the UN personnel or recruits in Timor Leste. The task involves proofreading and editing by the second and third parties respectively, to ensure the meaning and interpretation is not altered or lost. Successful candidates from the selection interviews shall execute the task online with regular email correspondences with the UNV Field Unit office in Timor Leste.

Currently there's lack of understanding of the immigration law and visa requirements for Timor Leste yet there's a law about it. However, the law is written in Portuguese language which most UN Volunteers don't understand. The objective therefore, is to translate this law into English for internal use by the UNV Field Unit.
