Background and objectives
We are looking for professional quality photographs to promote volunteer work in Ukraine. The volunteer(s) will contribute with their photos (set in Ukraine, ideally outdoors, and representing Ukrainian people in action, contexts and landscapes) to be associated to volunteer activity (please see examples here We would like to engage volunteers interested in a long-term cooperation with us. We will communicate with the volunteers via email and give them due credit for their work. The volunteer will be requested to sign a disclaimer as part of the selection for this task.

Photographs will contribute to the mission of the United Nations Volunteer (UNV) programme helps promote volunteering among active youth and citizens of Ukraine and integrate volunteer principles in the UN work in the country.
Volunteers: 10 needed
1-5 hours per week / 52 weeks
Previous photographing experience. Photo editing skills an asset. Sharing examples of previous photo work would be highly appreciated.

Before jumping in as an online volunteer, make sure you have:

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
