Background and objectives
Selected volunteers will help to transcribe a set of video interviews regarding human rights in Viet Nam. Each volunteer will work on a total length of footage around 10 minutes from 5 interviewees. The interviews will be edited into 1 single video to commemorate International Human Rights Day. Volunteers will be featured in closing credits. It helps to create an approachable and relatable voice of UN to build a strong relationship with the targeted youth population and raise awareness on human rights. Volunteers will work closely with UN Communications Officer and an on-site UNV in Communications. The final transcriptions will be reviewed by the Communications Specialist which volunteers could learn from the knowledge in translating/interpreting topics that need careful and sensitive handling.

UN Volunteers in Viet Nam is working with Human Rights Thematic Group of UN in Viet Nam to produce a video to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
