Background and objectives
The Youth Press and Development Organisation(Y.P.D.O) is a non profit organisation based in Zambia.The Y.P.D.O has identified a potential donor of Information Communication Technologies I.C.T in Los Angels California USA . The project requires the services of an online volunteer to research potential partners in shipping I.C.T equipment (computers, printers) from USA to Zambia . The assignment is suppose to be concluded within 4 weeks. The Y.P.D.O shall provide all the required information for the volunteer on the assignment and collaborations shall be done online. Volunteer shall be required to at least provide feedback every week. The volunteer shall not be required to contact these potential partners but provide information(contact details) for action to YPDO. All the required information shall be provided and communications shall be done via emails, skype, Vsee and Telegram.
Information technology and telecommunications
The task relates to our objectives of I.C.T in developing projects online business for self employment in in with the sustainable development goals. The project aims to use I.C.Ts in creating employment for the youth. The coming in technology in our communities like internet banking and enhanced courier transportation has allowed us to invest time and resource into the project. The potential partner in LA,California USA has offered technological equipment (computers,printers,scanners..).The volunteer's role shall be to identify the potential partners in helping shipping these pledged items to Zambia .
