Requisitos
We are looking for one creative volunteer to support our violence against women project communications team with creating a video animation that will raise awareness on the impacts of COVID-19 and Gender Based Violence and foster an effective and informed dialogue on the issue at the regional and global level. By answering the questions “How has covid-19 increase gender based violence both is public and private spaces? and outlining the emerging challenges women and girls face amidst COVID-19 lockdown and post era in the Bamenda city council area, the animation video aims at giving a better understanding of violence against women and girls within the context of COVID-19 focusing on prevention and response measures and approaches that can eliminate the negative impacts of violence gender based violence. The creator will produce a short video animation, approximately 2-3 minutes long. The online volunteer will receive full guidance and support from the CAEPA VaWG prevention team

CAEPA’s Mission is to ensure that vulnerable and marginalized women and girls have equal access to resources for sustainable development within communities that uphold their dignity and well-being, in North-West and South-West Cameroon. In order to respond adequately to the specific needs of each women, our organization takes into account the intersectionality between different axes of discrimination (age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnic belonging, religion, health condition, legal or administrative status, among others). The Covid-19 pandemic have brought numerous challenges, specially those related with the situation of women and girls suffering from GVB. There is a critical need to scale up lifesaving GBV services and advocate for access to services for affected communities in hard to reach areas such as the rural areas of Bamenda I, Bamenda II and Bamenda III Subdivisions in the North-West Cameroon.

Candidates should have solid profiles and experience in animation, film and video, graphic design/illustration. Please provide links to your previous work in your CV. A degree in communications, graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
