Contexto y objetivos
The volunteer will have to perform 3 key tasks: 1. Research on potential donors amongst corporate companies mainly in Papua New Guinea 2. Draft letters to build the public relations base for Morobe; all letters will be sent by Morobe itself. The successful volunteer recruited will collaboratively work with the groups focal contact who will provide all the necessary information and help to ensure the task is completed within the given time frame. The volunteer must be able to do research independently through Google or any other source available and can work with limited help and supervision. Communications with the focal person will be through email and a total commitment for this role is of high importance.

Morobe Development Foundation Inc is a community based group who has an aim and vision to fight issues on women rights and human rights in general. the group strive to reach the illiterate and isolated communities through communication strategies that are found to be effective in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. The successful volunteers recruited will receive a certificate of appreciation through the United Nations Online Volunteering service after the completion of their task.

We are looking for a volunteer who has a strong base in managing public relations, research activities, writing and familiarity with the organization structure in corporates. A candidate with a degree in public relations and a mix of experience in the profit and non-profit sector is ideal. He or she must be willing to work with people of different culture and background. Communication will be done through email, WhatsApp or Facebook to ensure the task is completed fully without any delay.
